Do you want to get out of the city for the day and spend some time photographing the rich autumn leaves and gardenscapes in the magnificent Southern Highlands?
This ADVANCED photography tour is designed for you to increase your general photography skills by learning about different metering modes, creative white balance, the histogram, macro photography and your lens {please note: this is not a detailed macro photography tour}, light, depth of field, advanced composition techniques plus the opportunity to ask any photography question you’d like!!
Spend the day with a passionate professional photographer who will explain all these new techniques to you in an easy to understand manner which will increase YOUR confidence with your camera.
This ‘Autumn in the Southern Highlands’ Advanced Photography Tour’ features two of the Southern Highland’s most impressive gardens that are part of the ‘Autumn Gardens’ weekend and are only open once each year!! Both of these gardens will visually inspire you and have you clicking like crazy!
During the middle of the day we will break for lunch at The Exeter General Store {NOT included in the tour price.}
You will be given personal, easy to understand photography tuition and information relevant to YOUR camera {yes, I study the workings of YOUR camera before the tour.}
You will be given a refresher on aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus, composition, depth of field plus advanced aspects of photography that will be explained to you ‘as we go’. You will take photos using each new technique before moving on to the next level.
By the end of the tour, you’ll feel much more confident about your newly learned photography techniques and have a much better understanding of your camera.

The click walk learn photography ebook. This will be emailed to you 5 – 7 days before the tour along with more specific details of where to meet, etc.
Max 5 students.
Please note: You must have a moderate amount of knowledge of your camera. This tour is not for beginners.
A moderate fitness level is required for this tour.
Garden details will be released when advised by the Southern Highlands Botanical Gardens.
