This beginners tour is designed to teach you absolutely everything about general photography AND fast movement photography at this fantastic yearly event!

Spend the day with a passionate professional photographer who will have you ‘out of auto’ and shooting like a pro in no time.

Learn how to photograph fast moving aircraft by using continuos focusing techniques. Discover the art of composition using the rule of thirds whilst photographing beautiful classic cars and historical aircraft. You will also learn how to ‘freeze the action’ using fast shutter speeds whilst photographing the motorbikes during the freestyle motor cross displays:)

You will be given personal, easy to understand photography tuition and information relevant to YOUR camera {yes, I study the workings of YOUR camera before the tour.}

Aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus, composition, depth of field and many more aspects of photography will be explained to you ‘as we go’. You will take photos using each new technique before moving onto the next level.

‘Sunrise in the Illawarra’ Photography Tour – Kiama & Cathedral Rock Mudgee

This all inclusive tour is designed to teach you everything about general photography plus specifics about landscape and architectural photography! Spend the weekend with a passionate professional photographer who will have you ‘out of auto’ and shooting like a pro in no time.
You will photograph Australia’s oldest gold mining town, Sofala, on the banks of the Turon River. Lunch will be at a local cafe {included.}
Next stop is Hill End – your camera will be in overdrive! There are so many buildings and landscapes to photograph – you will love it!
We will have a drink at the Royal hotel {included}, photograph the wildlife in the late afternoon light and stay the night in a local lodge. After dinner {included} you will learn all about image organisation and Lightroom before a good nights sleep.
Sunrise will be at Beaufoy Merlin lookout before a cooked breakfast {included} and a few last shots around town. We will then head off to Mudgee. The scenery and vistas on this drive are spectacular – we will stop where safe and take as many pics as we can.
Mudgee is a beautiful old town that is rich in Australian character. We will photograph some local vineyards before having a delicious lunch at a cafe or vineyard {included.} We will then explore Mudgee’s old buildings and surrounds for the afternoon before we conclude our tour with a debrief before heading home at approx 4pm.

Our day will start photographing Mudgee’s old buildings along the tree-lined streets including the Mudgee Post Office, built in 1862 and St. Marys Cathedral which dates back to 1857. We will explore the surrounds of Mudgee before having a delicious lunch at a local cafe {included.}
We will then make our way to the historic town of Hill End. The drive from Mudgee is absolutely spectacular. There are old farmhouses and beautiful landscape vistas littered along the way. We will stop – where safe – to take as many photos as we can!
 This former gold mining town is full of fabulous architecture, churches, mines and wildlife – your camera will be in overdrive.

60 minute ‘One on One’ Lightroom sessions

Mon, Wed or Thurs nights – 8 to 9pm $79 per session  
Do you know a little bit about lightroom or photoshop, but not sure of some of the editing tools? Do you want to organise your photos into manageable folders, but don’t know where to start? Do you want to quickly and efficiently give your photos that extra pop so they stand out and look fantastic?
These 60 minute sessions are designed and customised for you! Whatever aspect of Lightroom or photoshop you want to learn about, Christine is happy to teach you!
You will spend 60 minutes of one on one time with a professional photographer who will teach you in her usual easy to understand, concise manner!
This session will be held using ‘zoom’ – an awesome video conferencing tool where you can see each other and chat, but more importantly Christine can see your screen and use your mouse. She’ll even be able to jump into Lightroom on your computer!!
This session is conducted in front of your computer in the comfort of your own home:) There is no complicated software to download, Christine will simply send you an email from zoom, you click on the link and the session will begin from there!
Before the session Christine will ask you particularly what aspect of lightroom or photoshop you’d like to focus on and ask you to send some photos to her that you’d like to work on.
Notes and screen shots will be emailed to you after the session for you to keep and refer to.

This ‘Blue Mountains, Lithgow Blast Furnace & Mayfield Gardens Oberon photography tour’ has something for everyone 🙂
We will meet at the Leura Cascades in the Blue Mountains where you will meet the tour group and photograph the beautiful waterfall. Here you will learn ‘slow movement’ photography and come away with some beautiful ‘milky’ water shots of the waterfall!!
Lunch will be at a cafe in Leura or Katoomba {included.}
Our next stop is the Blast Furnace at Lithgow – this fabulous historical building is magic to photograph. Here you will learn landscape and composition techniques.
Chris is known for stopping ANYWHERE if she ‘sees a photo.’ We may pull over at any time to take advantage of a great photographic opportunity 🙂
We will arrive at our accomodation Duckmaloi Park {make sure you click on the link and check it out} with plenty of time to photograph the property in the late afternoon light.
This historic property is tucked away in the Duckmaloi Valley on 140 acres of soft rolling hills and natural bush with private access to the Duckmaloi River. The house is set on 2 acres of natural gardens with a dam and lots of bushwalking tracks. After settling in we will head out with the cameras to photograph the property or perhaps spot some wildlife!
Dinner will be in town at the pub {included.}
After dinner we will go over ‘Image organisation and Lightroom tuition.’ Chris will give you lots of info on keeping your images organised and some super easy lightroom tips to give your images that wow factor.
After a good nights sleep, there will be an early morning sunrise shoot {for those that want to get up} PLUS a hearty breakfast will be cooked by your hosts Chris and Ray before we set off  to Mayfield Gardens.
These gardens are truly spectacular and will be rich in autumn colours. We will photograph the main gardens PLUS the private gardens {which are only open to the public during the Autumn and Spring festivals each year.} You will learn all about your macro lens and how to take great ‘gardenscapes.’
There are complimentary shuttle buses to transport us around the gardens and of course lunch is included in the tour price at the Garden Cafe.
We will photograph here till approx 3.30pm, then a quick debrief before we head for home.

This tour begins at Darling Harbour were we photograph the fabulous boats,flags, the city skyline and many other structures. 

You will also photograph the exterior of The Endeavour & the submarine at the National Maritime Museum.

Our next stop is the Chinese Gardens of Friendship. Learn all about photography & YOUR camera whilst exploring this ‘oasis in the city.’ The gardens are full of lush greenery and Chinese architecture...It is really beautiful and will have you clicking like crazy🙂
