These bright and colourful architectural projections will illuminate the walls of Australian Parliament House, The National Gallery of Australia, The National Library of Australia, The National Portrait Gallery, Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House and Questacon – creating photographic heaven!!
This is the perfect opportunity to photograph fast-moving light projections and learn more about night photography alongside a professional photographer.
It really is easy once you’ve mastered the basics 🙂
Our tour begins at Parliament House where I will spend some time setting up YOUR camera, getting to know you and giving you lots of hints on how to get the perfect shot… {the light show commences at 8pm 🙂 }
We will then visit and photograph The Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House before continuing on foot to Canberra’s other light installations adjacent to Lake Burley Griffin.
You will be given personal, easy to understand photography tuition and information relevant to YOUR camera {yes, I study the workings of YOUR camera before the tour.}
Aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus, composition and many more aspects of night photography will be explained to you ‘as we go’. You will take photos using each new technique before moving onto the next level.
I will guide you every step of the way which will have you shooting like a pro in no time!!
A tripod is required for this tour.
Please note: A moderate fitness level is required for this tour. This will be a ‘walking’ tour.
