Do you want to get out and about with your camera and create beautiful photos whilst exploring stunning locations in and around Kiama on the South Coast?
Why not join me on this 5 hour Beginners photography tour and learn all about photography in a relaxed and fun environment that focuses on teaching YOU great skills alongside a professional photographer?
Kiama is situated 115km south of Sydney and is a photographer’s paradise! You will photograph beautiful ocean vistas one minute and rolling green hills the next – we really have it all here on the South Coast. 🙂
Our tour begins at the iconic Kiama Lighthouse where you will learn all about architectural photography. We will then move onto the ‘Little Blowhole’ – a hidden gem in Kiama – and master the basics of fast action water photography and perfect timing with the camera.
We will then meander up Saddleback Mountain, photographing beautiful vistas, trees, horses and cows, kangaroos {if they’re out and about}, farm houses and more before enjoying the SPECTACULAR view from the lookout at the top.
By this stage, everyone will be ready for something to eat, so it’s back to Kiama for lunch. After a break, we will head to our last stop of the day – Cathedral Rock in Kiama – this iconic rock formation is spectacular and a world renowned photography location. You will also have the chance to practice some ocean wave photography.
You will be given personal, easy to understand photography tuition and information relevant to YOUR camera (yes, I study the workings of YOUR camera before the tour.)
Aperture, shutter speed, ISO, focus, composition, depth of field, and many more aspects of photography will be explained to you ‘as we go’. You will take photos using each new technique before moving on to the next level.
We stop for lunch for an hour {not included in the tour time} to recharge and get to know each other a little better:)
By the end of the tour, you will be ‘out of auto’ mode, feel more confident about lots of photography techniques in general, and have a much better understanding of your camera.

Detailed photography ebook – this is emailed to you 5-7 days before the tour along with tour times and details of our meeting point etc.
What’s NOT included in the price?
Your own lunch, water etc.
