This all inclusive tour is designed to increase your general photography skills plus explore specifics about landscape and architectural photography! Spend the weekend with a passionate professional photographer who will help you reach the next level with your photography.

If your partner, Mum, Dad or friend always get jealous of where you travel to with your photography weekends away – bring them along! Everything is included for them in the special tour price {see above} except tuition and ebooks.

This Sofala, Hill End & Mudgee Photography Tour has something for everyone 🙂

We will meet at Lithgow in the Blue Mountains briefly before we head off to Sofala – Australia’s oldest gold mining town. We will explore the historic cemetery, school and other old fabulous buildings on the banks of the Turon River.

Lunch will be at a cafe in Sofala {included.}

Our next stop is Hill End – this fabulous town will have your camera in overdrive! There are so many buildings and landscapes to photograph – it really is photography paradise 🙂

We will check into our hotel before heading out on foot to photograph the town at a leisurely pace. We will concentrate on composition, technique and any aspect of photography you’re not sure about!

We will have an afternoon drink stop at the Royal Hotel {included} before making the most of the late afternoon light to capture some of the resident wildlife and birds.

Dinner will be in the restaurant at the lodge {dinner and 1 x alcoholic beverage included.}

After dinner we will go over ‘Image organisation and Lightroom tuition.’ Chris will give you lots of info on keeping your images organised and some super easy lightroom tips to give your images that wow factor.

After a good nights sleep, there will be an early morning sunrise shoot at Beaufoy Merlin Lookout {for those that want to get up} PLUS a hearty breakfast {included} upon our return.

We will then head off towards Mudgee. This is one of the most spectacular drives I’ve ever been on. There are old farmhouses and beautiful landscape vistas littered all the way along this road. We will stop – where safe – to take as many photos as we like!

Mudgee is a beautiful old town that is rich in Australian character. We will photograph some local vineyards before having a delicious lunch at a cafe or vineyard {included.} We will then explore Mudgee’s old buildings and surrounds for the afternoon before we conclude our tour with a debrief before heading home at approx 4pm.

You will be given personal, easy to understand photography tuition and information relevant to YOUR camera {yes, I study the workings of YOUR camera before the tour.}
